Chiropractic For Ideal Chiropractics Health Center

What is Chiropractic ? Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that your body is a self-regulating, self-healing system controlled by the brain, spinal cord and nerves. These nerves transmit three types of information:

  1. Sensory – This information travels to the brain to tell us about our environment and what our body is doing. Sensory information includes sight, sound, taste, smell, hearing, and touch, as well as pain and temperature. Pain transmission is only about 5% of total nervous system function but when do most people consult a doctor? When they’re in pain! Pain is a warning sign of dysfunction and your central nervous system controls all body sensation, function, and emotion.
  2. Motor – This information starts in the brain and travels to the muscles of the body to control the musculoskeletal system. The motor system is responsible for balance, posture, movement, and coordination.
  3. Autonomic – The nervous system does much more than transmit sensory information to the brain or control motor functions. Autonomic information starts in the brain and travels to the body to control the organs, glands, and blood vessels what to do. Autonomic means automatic because this system regulates all of the things that we don’t have to think about which keep us alive including heart rate, blood pressure, breath rate, metabolism, thyroid function, digestion, hormone balance, and immune function.

At Ideal Chiropractic Health Center we utilize the most state-of-the-art technology to measure nerve system function and progress throughout care. We have found that a wide range of health issues and symptoms are related to areas of dysfunction in the central nervous system, which interfere with proper communication between the brain and body.

As the brain and nerve system begins to function more efficiently, most patients report significant symptom relief, as well as a number of side benefits including better sleep, better digestion, more energy, and a stronger immune system.
